Kolkata is a capital of West Bengal it is situated near the bank of Hooghly River. During the time of British rule Kolkata formerly Calcutta is the capital of India. Kolkata city is very beautiful in greenery and the traditional Bengali culture.

Kolkata City is very highly populated and second largest city of India, It is located near the bank of Hooghly River, this city is famous for its culture, different types of religious believes,variety of Food , music, Bengali film, drama, arts and culture, museums, library, parks, zoo, high courts  ,temples, mosque and many more.Some of its building is very old are more than hundred years was built in the time of British regime so know its heritage building. Kolkata underground railways are the first underground metro in India. Kolkata is also well known for making Bengali film called Tollywood film industry.

Mughlai dish is also famous in this city people of kolkata loves to eat Mughlai food specially Biryani , chicken chaap, chicken rezala, butter chicken Tandoori chicken,lacha paratha, naan etc. some people loves to eat Chinese food such as chicken chilly, chowmen, fried rice.
